A demonstration on the progress with SPUD’s AI
As a companion you will always feel like you are travelling together. Sometimes it leads, sometimes follows, but never allows itself to get left behind.
Additionally, SPUD pays attention to everything in a scene and decides what is important to look at which not only gives the player visual cues but also makes it feel a bit more natural.
An assortment of stuff I have been working on including SPUD’s AI.
He’s not as smart as I’d like just yet. But progress is being made!

It’s harder to see giant angry potatoes in the fog. But obliterating them is still satisfying!

Potatoes are not very smart and can’t swim.
Progress being made on getting potatoes to spawn up out of the ground. You know, where they come from.
